Libraries all over Estonia will be celebrating Day of National Cultures on the 24th of September. Several libraries will be hosting events “The Whole Estonia reads!” The aim of these events is to welcome everyone at our libraries, regardless of their mother tongue or cultural background. You can participate in cultural programs held in different languages, try interesting national dishes and learn about your local library and what they have to offer. Smaller libraries will be introducing interesting books and hold smaller events.

- Event „The Whole Estonia reads!“ in Jõhvi celebrating the Day of National Cultures, program includes a book fair, craft workshop, training and much more.
- Family day „The Whole Estonia reads!“ in Laagna garden (Võru 11). From 11 am to 3 pm, you can take part in a cultural program in Estonian, Russian and English, learn about the activities of the Tallinn Central Library and taste national food. In addition, a dry ice show by Dan Eršov is taking place, Andrus Kivirähk will perform, a craft workshop is open and much more!
- Family day „The Whole Estonia reads!“ in Rakvere. The event starts at 12, you can learn about Ingushetia national cuisine, Wend shares his travel and food stories, games and other activities for children.
- Day of National Cultures „The Whole Estonia reads!“ in Sillamäe. The program includes a book fair, quiz and musical performances.
- The event „The Whole Estonia reads!“ will take place in Paldiski central square at 11 am. The visitors can enjoy musical and theatrical performances as well as book presentations.
- Family day „The Whole Estonia reads!“ at 11 am in the Säde Park next to the Valga Central Library. Several speakers will perform, you can have a treat in the home cafes of various national cuisines, the outdoor library will open its doors, and there will be workshops and much more.
- Day of National Cultures „The Whole Estonia reads!“ in Narva. During the event, we will learn folk dancing with the representatives of national societies, cook together, share some of the unique experiences or skills of interesting recipes, set the table and enjoy ethnic food. All our activities are accompanied by folk and traditional music. Activities start at 12 noon.
- Day of National Cultures „The Whole Estonia reads!“ in Tartu. At 11 a.m., a surprise speaker, an apple expert, and taste tours await at the Annelinna library (Kaunas pst 23).
- „The Whole Estonia reads!“ family day at Pärnu Central Library (Academy 3). From 12 am to 3 pm, you can take part in the cultural program in Estonian, Russian and English. We talk about the activities of the library, Finno-Ugric, Slavic and Estonian food culture, make and taste various snacks.
